The one and only Raglan Retreat đ
What started as an idea turned into 4 unforgettable days of surf, movement, nervous system work, recovery, laughter, and genuine connection here in Raglan.
We stayed at koru Lodge with two sisters that flew up from Christchurch it felt far bigger than just a surf retreat.
Together we surfed, trained, stretched, analysed footage, talked performance and mindset, moved through yoga and Pilates sessions, focused on recovery, and shared incredible meals overlooking the moana.
This wasnât about being the âbest surferâ in the room.
It was about progression. Confidence. Learning how to regulate your nervous system under pressure. Learning how to trust yourself in the water and in life.
One of the most special parts was watching women support each other so genuinely. Complete strangers cheering each other into waves, sitting around after sessions talking story, and leaving with new friendships and confidence they didnât arrive with.
We were lucky to have Kirra Molnar leading technical surf coaching and video analysis throughout the retreat, bringing world-level surf knowledge and real-time feedback into every session. Alongside that, Dr Kiri guided movement, yoga, Pilates, breathwork, resilience, and nervous system sessions designed to support performance both in and out of the water.
And honestly⌠this will likely be the one and only Wild Coast retreat held in Raglan in this format. đ¤
As Wild Coast evolves, the vision is growing beyond NZ. Weâre currently looking at Melbourne in September at the wave pool for the next experience, with future retreats planned across Australia and beyond đ
The goal has never been to create just another surf camp.
Itâs to create transformative experiences for women through ocean, movement, challenge, nervous system education, performance, and community.
Massive gratitude to every wahine who trusted us enough to come along for the ride.
This one felt special. đ
Massive gratitude to every wahine who came and made this weekend what it was.
Special things happen when women feel safe enough to fully show up.
